लिप्ते मषीगोमयकर्दमऽद्यैश्छिन्ने प्रदग्धे स्फुटिते च विन्द्यात् । पुष्टं नवे अल्पाल्पतरं च भुक्ते पापं शुभं चाधिकं उत्तरीये ॥ ७१-११ ॥
If the injury occur to an Asura part, the person will either suffer from diseases or will die; if it occur to a human part, there will be birth of sons and an improved appearance of the body; if it occur to a Divine part, there will be an increase of comfort. Generally, if the injury occur about the edges, there will be misery.

lipte maSIgomayakardama'dyaizchinne pradagdhe sphuTite ca vindyAt । puSTaM nave alpAlpataraM ca bhukte pApaM zubhaM cAdhikaM uttarIye ॥ 71-11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरुग्राक्षसांशेस्वथ वा अपि मृत्युः पुञ्जन्मतेजश्च मनुष्यभागे । भागे अमराणां अथ भोगवृद्धिः प्रान्तेषु सर्वत्र वदन्त्यनिष्टम् ॥ ७१-१२ ॥
If the cut appearing in the divine parts of a garment be of the shape of a heron, a duck, an owl, a dove, a crow, a hawk, a jackal, an ass, a camel, or a snake, there will be danger to the hie of the person.

rugrAkSasAMzesvatha vA api mRtyuH puJjanmatejazca manuSyabhAge । bhAge amarANAM atha bhogavRddhiH prAnteSu sarvatra vadantyaniSTam ॥ 71-12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकङ्कप्लवौलूककपोतकाकक्रव्यादगोमायुखरौष्ट्रसर्पैः । छेदऽकृतिर्दैवतभागगाअपि पुंसां भयं मृत्युसमं करोति ॥ ७१-१३ ॥
If the cut in the Asura part of the garment be of the shape of an umbrella, a banner, a cross, a platter a bilva tree, a pot, a lotus flower, a flower wreath and the like, the person will soon become wealthy and prosperous.

kaGkaplavaulUkakapotakAkakravyAdagomAyukharauSTrasarpaiH । cheda'kRtirdaivatabhAgagAapi puMsAM bhayaM mRtyusamaM karoti ॥ 71-13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptछत्रध्वजस्वस्तिकवर्धमानश्रीवृक्षकुम्भाम्बुजतोरणऽद्यैः । छेदऽकृतिर्नैरृतभागगाअपि पुंसां विधत्ते न चिरेण लक्ष्मीम् ॥ ७१-१४ ॥
A new garment presented by Brāhmaṇas with their benedictions or by the king for merit or on occasions of marriage, may be worn irrespective of the position of the stars in the lunar Zodiac and the effects will always be good.

chatradhvajasvastikavardhamAnazrIvRkSakumbhAmbujatoraNa'dyaiH । cheda'kRtirnairRtabhAgagAapi puMsAM vidhatte na cireNa lakSmIm ॥ 71-14 ॥
