ताम्रओष्ठतालुवदनाः कलविङ्कनेत्राः स्निग्धौन्नताग्रदशनाः पृथुलऽयतऽस्याः । चापौन्नतऽयतनिगूढनिमग्नवंशास् तन्वेकरोमचितकूर्मसमानकुम्भाः ॥ ६७-०६ ॥
Her face was red with copper lips and palate, her eyes were like a twinkle, and her teeth were smooth and raised. Their bows were raised in length and their trunks were hidden in the water.

tAmraoSThatAluvadanAH kalaviGkanetrAH snigdhaunnatAgradazanAH pRthula'yata'syAH । cApaunnata'yatanigUDhanimagnavaMzAs tanvekaromacitakUrmasamAnakumbhAH ॥ 67-06 ॥

The elephant (hasti) whose tail is long, trunk red, roar like that of the clouds, and neck large, long and round, will bring wealth to a king.

dIrghAGguliraktapuSkarAH sajalAmbhodaninAdabRMhiNaH । bRhadAyatavRttakandharA dhanyA bhUmipatermataGgajAH ॥ 67-08 ॥
