मध्येन यदि मघानां गतागतं लोहितः करोति ततः । पाण्ड्यो नृपो विनश्यति शस्त्रौद्योगाद्भयं अवृष्टिं ॥ ६-०८ ॥

If Mars should pass through the middle of the constellation of Maghā and retrograde back through the same, the ruler of the Pāṇḍya country will perish and mankind will suffer from wars and drought.

madhyena yadi maghAnAM gatAgataM lohitaH karoti tataH । pANDyo nRpo vinazyati zastraudyogAdbhayaM avRSTiM ॥ 6-08 ॥
