क्रौञ्चकाञ्चीकलापाश्च कलहंसकलस्वराः । नद्यस्तोयांशुका यत्र शफरीकृतमेखलाः ॥ ५६-०६ ॥

फुल्लतीरद्रुमौत्तंसाः सङ्गमश्रोणिमण्डलाः । पुलिनाभ्युन्नतौरस्या हंसवासाश् च निम्नगाः ॥ ५६-०७ ॥
The trees on the banks of the river blossomed and the hips of the mountains met The banks of the river were raised by swans and the rivers were low.

वनौपान्तनदीशैलनिर्झरौपान्तभूमिषु । रमन्ते देवता नित्यं पुरेषुउद्यानवत्सु च ॥ ५६-०८ ॥
They rejoice always in gardens, streams, hills, places through which pass mountain currents and in the canals of flower gardens.

भूमयो ब्राह्मणादीनां याः प्रोक्ता वास्तुकर्मणि । ता एव तेषां शस्यन्ते देवताआयतनेष्वपि ॥ ५६-०९ ॥
Places which have been described as suitable for the erection of houses for the Brāhmaṇas and others are also suitable for the erection of temples.
english translation
चतुःषष्टिपदं कार्यं देवताआयतनं सदा । द्वारं च मध्यमं तस्मिन् समदिक्स्थं प्रशस्यते ॥ ५६-१० ॥
In the case of temples (prāsāda), the site shall always be divided into 64 squares and the entrance shall be in the middle of the wall and the walls shall be due east and west and due north and south.
