उत्तरतश्च मधूकादहिनिलयः पश्चिमे तरोस्तोयम् । परिहृत्य पञ्च हस्तानर्धाष्टमपौरुषान्[क्-पौरुषे] प्रथमम् ॥ ५४-३५ ॥
If a snake hole be seen to the north of the Madhūka, there will be a current at the distance of 5 cubits to the west of the hole and at a depth of seven men and a half.
