ललाटस्पर्शनात्शूकदर्शनात्शालिजौदनम् । उरःस्पर्शात्षष्टिक आख्यं ग्रीवास्पर्शे च यावकम् ॥ ५१-३० ॥
If the forehead be touched or barley be seen, then Śalya rice is indicated; if the breast be touched, then the Ṣaṣṭika rice is indicated; if the neck be touched, barley rice is indicated.
