मध्ये यदि प्रकाशः प्रथमं तन्मध्यविदरणं नाम । अन्तःकोपकरं स्यात्सुभिक्षदं नातिवृष्टिकरम् ॥ ५-८९ ॥

If the middle of the eclipsed disc should first begin to clear, the termination is known as madhyavidaraṇa (central opening): there will be anger at heart and prosperity over the land but not much rain.
