शुक्ले पक्षे सम्प्रवृद्धे प्रवृद्धिं ब्रह्मक्षत्रं याति वृद्धिं प्रजाश्च । हीने हानिस्तुल्यता तुल्यतायां कृष्णे सर्वे तत्फलं व्यत्ययेन ॥ ४-३१ ॥

If the disc of the moon that regularly waxes and wanes should appear white resembling the colour of the Kumuda flower or that of the stem of the lotus or if the moon’s course or disc or rays should suffer no irregular change there will be prosperity in the land.

english translation

zukle pakSe sampravRddhe pravRddhiM brahmakSatraM yAti vRddhiM prajAzca । hIne hAnistulyatA tulyatAyAM kRSNe sarve tatphalaM vyatyayena ॥ 4-31 ॥
