यदि कुमुदमृणालहारगौरस्तिथिनियमात्क्षयं एति वर्द्धते वा । अविकृतगतिमण्डलांशुयोगी भवति नृणां विजयाय शीतरश्मिः ॥ ४-३२ ॥

sanskrit

During the waxing moon, the Brāhmins, the Kṣatriyas and mankind at large will prosper; and during the waning moon, they will suffer miseries. The increase of prosperity will commence after the new-moon and of adversity after the full moon.

english translation

yadi kumudamRNAlahAragaurastithiniyamAtkSayaM eti varddhate vA । avikRtagatimaNDalAMzuyogI bhavati nRNAM vijayAya zItarazmiH ॥ 4-32 ॥
