मध्यतनुर्वज्रऽख्यः क्षुद्भयदः सम्भ्रमाय राज्ञां च । चन्द्रो मृदङ्गरूपः क्षेमसुभिक्षऽवहो भवति ॥ ४-१९ ॥

If the middle of the moon (candra) should appear small, there will be hunger in the land and princes will be afflicted with cares. If the middle should appear big she will cause prosperity and plenty.

english translation

madhyatanurvajra'khyaH kSudbhayadaH sambhramAya rAjJAM ca । candro mRdaGgarUpaH kSemasubhikSa'vaho bhavati ॥ 4-19 ॥
