Brihat Samhita
आमध्याह्नाद्राजौपसेविनो ब्राह्मणांश्च पीडयति । वैश्यजलदांस्तृतीये चौरान्प्रहरे चतुर्थे तु ॥ ३९-०३ ॥
If the fall should occur before midday, the king’s servants and Brāhmaṇas will suffer; if it should occur within three hours after midday, the Vaiśyas and clouds will suffer, and if before sunset, thieves will suffer.
