अस्तं याते नीचान्प्रथमे यामे निहन्ति सस्यानि । रात्रौ द्वितीययामे पिशाचसङ्घान्निपीडयति ॥ ३९-०४ ॥

sanskrit

If the fall of thunderbolt should occur at sunset, low caste men will suffer; if it should occur in the first three hours after sunset, crops will suffer; and if before midnight, ghosts will suffer.

english translation

astaM yAte nIcAnprathame yAme nihanti sasyAni । rAtrau dvitIyayAme pizAcasaGghAnnipIDayati ॥ 39-04 ॥
