विन्द्याच्च सिन्धुवारेण मौक्तिकं *कारुकाः[क्-कुङ्कुमं] कुसुम्भेन । रक्तोत्पलेन राजा मन्त्री नीलोत्पलेनोक्तः ॥ २९-०९ ॥
The growth of the Sindhuvāra indicates that pearls can be had in abundance; that of Kusumbha (Safflower) indicates that Kumkuma can be had in abundance, that of the red lotus indicates that rulers will prosper and that of the blue lotus indicates that ministers will prosper.

vindyAcca sindhuvAreNa mauktikaM *kArukAH[k-kuGkumaM] kusumbhena । raktotpalena rAjA mantrI nIlotpalenoktaH ॥ 29-09 ॥
