स्थाने अष्टमे गुरुबुधौ नियतं वियोगं मृत्युं शशी भृगुसुतश्च तथएव राहुः । सूर्यः करोत्यविधवां सरुजां महीजः सूर्यात्मजो धनवतीं पतिवल्लभां च ॥ १०३-०८ ॥
If at the time of Marriage, the 8th house from the ascendant be occupied by Jupiter or Mercury, there will be separation between husband and wife; if it be occupied by the Moon, Venus or Rāhu, the woman will die early; if by the Sun she will escape widowhood; if by Mars she will be afflicted with diseases; and if by Saturn she will become rich and will be liked by her husband.
