प्रियभूषणः स्वरूपः सुभगो दक्षो अश्विनीषु मतिमांश्च । कृतनिश्चयसत्यारुग्दक्षः सुखितश्च भरणीषु ॥ १०१-०१ ॥
A person born when the Moon passes through the asterism of Aśvinī will be fond of ornaments, will be of fine appearance, of amiable manners, skilled in work and intelligent. A person born when the Moon passes through the asterism of Bharaṇī will be successful at work, truthful, free from diseases, able and free from grief.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptबहुभुक्परदाररतस्तेजस्वी कृत्तिकासु विख्यातः । रोहिण्यां सत्यशुचिः प्रियंवदः स्थिरः स्वरूपश्च ॥ १०१-०२ ॥
A person born when the Moon passes though the asterism of Kṛttikā will be a glutton, fond of the wives of other men, of bright appearance and of wide-spread fame. A person born when the Moon passes through the asterism of Rohiṇī will be truthful, will not covet the property of other men, will be of cleanly habits, of sweet speech, of firm views and of fine appearance.

bahubhukparadAraratastejasvI kRttikAsu vikhyAtaH । rohiNyAM satyazuciH priyaMvadaH sthiraH svarUpazca ॥ 101-02 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptचपलश्चतुरो भीरुः पटुरुत्साही धनी मृगे भोगी । शठगर्वितचण्डकृतघ्नहिंस्रपापश्च रौद्रऋक्षे ॥ १०१-०३ ॥
A person born when the Moon passes through the asterism of Mṛgaśīrṣa will be of no firm views, will be able, timid, of good speech, of active habits, rich and will indulge in sexual pleasures. A person born when the Moon passes through the asterism of Ārdrā will be insincere, of irascible temper, ungrateful, troublesome and addicted to wicked deeds.

A person born when the Moon passes through the asterism of Punarvasu will be devout and of patient habits, will live in comfort, will be good natured, quiet, of wrong views, sickly, thirsty and pleased with trifles.

dAntaH sukhI suzIlo durmedhA rogabhAkpipAsuzca । alpena ca santuSTaH punarvasau jAyate manujaH ॥ 101-04 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशान्तात्मा सुभगः पण्डितो धनी धर्मसंश्रितः पुष्ये । शठसर्वभक्षक्ष्य पापः कृतघ्नधूर्तश्च भौजङ्गे ॥ १०१-०५ ॥
A person born when the Moon passes through the asterism of Puṣya will have a control over his passions, will be generally liked, will be learned in the Śāstras, will be rich and will be fond of doing acts of charity. A person born when the Moon passes through the asterism of Āśleṣā will not be attentive to the work of other men, will be a promiscuous eater, will be sinful, ungrateful and skilled in deceiving other men.
