लग्नांशलिप्तिका हत्वा प्रत्येकं विहगायुषा । भाज्या मण्डललिप्ताभिर्लब्धं वर्षादि शोधयेत् ॥ १२॥

Malefics in Lagn. In case Tanu Bhava is occupied by malefics, adopt the following procedure. Convert Lagn‟s Sphuta into minutes of arc and multiply it by the years etc., contributed by the occupant, and divide by 21600.

lagnAMzaliptikA hatvA pratyekaM vihagAyuSA । bhAjyA maNDalaliptAbhirlabdhaM varSAdi zodhayet ॥ 12॥
