अथ विप्र फलं वक्ष्ये षष्ठभावसमुद्भवम् । देहे रोगव्रणाद्यं तत् श्रूयतामेकचेतसा ॥ १॥

O Brahmin, following are the effects, produced by Ari Bhava, relating to diseases, ulcers etc. Listen to this attentively.

षष्ठाधिपः स्वगेहे वा देहे वाऽप्यष्टमे स्थितः । तदा व्रणा भवेद्देहे षष्ठराशिसमाश्रिते ॥ २॥

Ulcers/Bruises. Should Ari‟s Lord be in Ari itself, or in Lagn, or Randhr, there will be ulcers, or bruises on the body. The Rāśi, becoming Ari Bhava, will lead to the knowledge of the concerned limb.

एवं पित्रादिभावेशास्तत्तत्कारकसंयुताः । व्रणाधिपयुताश्चापि षष्ठाष्टमयुता यदि ॥ ३॥

Relatives Affected. The Karak of a relative, or the Lord of such a Bhava, joining Ari‟s Lord, or being in Ari, or Randhr Bhava, indicates ulcers/bruises to such a relative, like father.

तेषामपि व्रणं वाच्यमादित्येन शिरोव्रणम् । इन्दुना च मुखे कण्ठे भौमेन ज्ञेन नाभिषु ॥ ४॥

Sūrya with such lordship and in such a Bhava denotes such affectation of head, Candr of the face, Mangal of the neck, Budh of the navel,

गुरुणा नासिकायां च भृगुणा नयने पदे । शनिना राहुणा कुक्षौ केतुना च तथा भवेत् ॥ ५॥

Guru of the nose, Śukr of the eyes, Śani of the feet and the Rahu and Ketu of the abdomen.
