हर्षणाश्वासनोत्त्रासभयताडनतर्जनम् । अभ्यङ्गोद्वर्तनालेपधूपान् पानं च सर्पिषः ॥ २१ ॥
as well as making him happy, comforting/assuring him, shocking/startling him, inducing fear, beating, and threatening him. Additionally, oil massage (abhyanga), dry powder massage (udvartana), anointing with pastes (alepa), fumigation (dhupa), and the drinking of medicated ghee should be administered.

cooked in one adhaka (3.072 kg) of ghee along with cow's urine, is an excellent remedy to cure insanity (unmada), affliction by evil spirits (bhuta), and epilepsy (apasmara). Medicated ghee is prepared with two prastha (1.536 liters) of the fresh juice of brāhmī – Bacopa monnieri, and one prastha (768 grams) of ghee, cooked with the paste of one aksha (12 grams)

each of vyoṣa (Black pepper, Long pepper, and Ginger), śyāmā – Operculina turpethum (black variety), trivṛt – Operculina turpethum, dantī – Baliospermum montanum, śaṅkhapuṣpī – Convolvulus pluricaulis, nṛpadruma – Cassia fistula, saptalā – Euphorbia pilulifera / Acacia sinuata, and kṛmihara – Embelia ribes.
