छिद्रं पापक्रियारम्भः पाकोऽनिष्टस्य कर्मणः । एकस्य शून्येऽवस्थानं श्मशानादिषु वा निशि ॥ ६ ॥

Vulnerability (Chidra) constitutes the commencement of sinful actions, the maturation (Paka) of past unwholesome deeds, staying alone in a deserted or empty place, or visiting places like cremation grounds (Shmashana) at night.

chidraM pApakriyArambhaH pAko'niSTasya karmaNaH । ekasya zUnye'vasthAnaM zmazAnAdiSu vA nizi ॥ 6 ॥

दिग्वासस्त्वं गुरोर्निन्दा रतेरविधिसेवनम् । अशुचेर्देवतार्चादि परसूतकसङ्करः ॥ ७ ॥

Remaining naked (Digvasastvam), insulting one's preceptors or teachers (Guru-Ninda), engaging in sexual intercourse through unlawful or improper ways (Rati-Avidhi-Sevana), worshipping deities while unclean (Ashuchi), and coming into contact with the impurities of birth or death (Sutaka) relating to others.
