पादशेषं रसं तस्माद्व्यस्थीन्यामलकानि च । गृहीत्वा भर्जयेत्तैलघृताद्द्वादशभिः पलैः ॥ ३६ ॥

decoction reduced to one-fourth (kashaya decoction 3.072 liters) and filtered. To this decoction are added fruits of dhātrīphala Emblica officinalis five hundred by count and cooked. When the decoction gets reduced to a quarter, squeeze the cooked Emblica officinalis fruit and their seeds removed (obtaining only the soft pulp). This is fried in oil and ghee, twelve pala (576 ml) each
