या नोपरुन्ध्यादाहारमेकं मात्रास्य सा स्मृता । षष्टिकः पयसा चात्र जीर्णे भोजनमिष्यते ॥ २१ ॥
The ideal dose (mātrā) is that amount which does not obstruct or suppress even a single regular meal. Once the medicine is properly digested, the person should partake of ṣaṣṭika rice along with milk as their diet.

yA noparundhyAdAhAramekaM mAtrAsya sA smRtA । SaSTikaH payasA cAtra jIrNe bhojanamiSyate ॥ 21 ॥

The Vaikhānasas, Bālakhilyas, and other great ascetic sages, by consuming this auspicious Rasāyana formulation designed by Lord Brahmā, became free from stupor

vaikhAnasA bAlakhilyAstathA cAnye tapodhanAH । brahmaNA vihitaM dhanyamidaM prAzya rasAyanam ॥ 22 ॥

mental strain, physical fatigue, skin wrinkles, graying hair, and diseases. Blessed with sharp intelligence, retentive memory, and physical strength, they attained boundless longevity.

Disease free abhaya – Terminalia chebula and āmalaka – Emblica officinalis one thousand (each), pippalī – Piper longum one thousand are powdered and added to the solution of kshara (ash) of fresh Butea monosperma tree kept in a pot.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptउपयुक्ते च क्षारे छायासंशुष्कचूर्णितं योज्यम् । पादांशेन सितायाश्चतुर्गुणाभ्यां मधुघृताभ्याम् ॥ २५ ॥
When the ash becomes utilized (absorbed), powder of sugar dried in shade, one-fourth the quantity of honey and ghee four times the quantity is added.
