अन्ते वृश्चिकदष्टानां समुदीर्णे भृशं विषे । विषेणालेपयेद्दंशमुच्चिटिङ्गेऽप्ययं विधिः ॥ ४१ ॥
In the end (when other treatments have failed), if the poison is found to be increased in its effect in those stung by scorpion, then the site of the bite should be applied with a paste of visha (sthavara visha or vegetable poison); even in case of bite of ucchatinga (poisonous crabs) this is the treatment.
