दण्डाहतस्य नो राजी प्रयातस्य यमान्तिकम् । अतोऽन्यथा तु त्वरया प्रदीप्तागारवद्भिषक् ॥ ३७ ॥

who does not bleed from the wound (specially made) and who does not develop linear marks when hit by the baton are all going near the lord of death. The remaining kinds of persons should be treated expeditiously by the physician, just as saving a house on fire (which is burning),

english translation

daNDAhatasya no rAjI prayAtasya yamAntikam । ato'nyathA tu tvarayA pradIptAgAravadbhiSak ॥ 37 ॥
