अशेषविषवेतालग्रहकार्मणपाप्मसु । मरकव्याधिदुर्भिक्षयुद्धाशनिभयेषु च ॥ ३१ ॥
This remedy wards off all kinds of poisons, ghosts, demons, sorcery, sinful acts, as well as fear of epidemics, diseases, famine, war, and lightning,

medication, collyrium, external application, or bound with jewels. Known as Chandrodaya, it is the ultimate peaceful and auspicious protector; smeared with this alone, Vasava (Indra) killed (the demon) Vritra.

pAnanasyAJjanAlepamaNibandhAdiyojitaH। eSa candrodayo nAma zAntisvastyayanaM param॥32॥ ।vAsavo vRtramavadhItsamAliptaH kilAmunA। ]॥32॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजीर्णं विषघ्नौषधिभिर्हतं वा दावाग्निवातातपशोषितं वा । स्वभावतो वा न गुणैः सुयुक्तं दूषीविषाख्यां विषमभ्युपैति ॥ ३३ ॥
Any poison which has become old, killed (made ineffective) by other anti-poisonous medicines, dried (or acted upon) by forest fire, breeze, or sunlight, or that which by its very nature is not endowed well with (all) the properties (of poison), derives the name Dushivisha.

jIrNaM viSaghnauSadhibhirhataM vA dAvAgnivAtAtapazoSitaM vA । svabhAvato vA na guNaiH suyuktaM dUSIviSAkhyAM viSamabhyupaiti ॥ 33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवीर्याल्पभावादविभाव्यमेतत्कफावृतं वर्षगणानुबन्धि । तेनार्दितो भिन्नपुरीषवर्णो दुष्टास्ररोगी तृडरोचकार्तः ॥ ३४ ॥
Because of its mild potency, it is imperceptible, yet it continues to exist in the body for many years getting enveloped by Kapha. Troubled by it, the person eliminates feces that are loose and of altered colors, suffers from vitiated blood diseases, thirst, and loss of taste/appetite;

vIryAlpabhAvAdavibhAvyametatkaphAvRtaM varSagaNAnubandhi । tenArdito bhinnapurISavarNo duSTAsrarogI tRDarocakArtaH ॥ 34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमूर्छन् वमन् गद्गदवाग्विमुह्यन् भवेच्च दूष्योदरलिङ्गजुष्टः । आमाशयस्थे कफवातरोगी पक्वाशयस्थेऽनिलपित्तरोगी ॥ ३५ ॥
faints, vomits, stammers in speech, loses consciousness, and develops symptoms of Dushyodara. If the Dushivisha is located in the stomach (amashaya), the person suffers from Kapha-Vata disorders; if located in the large intestine (pakwashaya), from Vata-Pitta disorders.
