जम्ब्वाम्रपल्लवा मस्तु हरिद्रे द्वे नवो गुडः । लेपः सवर्णकृत्पिष्टं स्वरसेन च तिन्दुकम् ॥ २२ ॥
Paste of tender leaves of Jambu – Syzygium cumini, āmra – and Mangifera indica, the two harida-Haridra – Curcuma longa, Daruharidra – Berberis aristate along with fresh jaggery and macerated with water of curds imparts natural color to the discolored area; so also, the paste of tindukam – Diospyros peregrine macerated with its own juice.
