घृतानि भूतविद्यायां वक्ष्यन्ते यानि तानि च । युञ्ज्यात्तथा बलिं होमं स्नपनं मन्त्रतन्त्रवित् ॥ ५८ ॥

The physician conversant with hymns and procedures (of sorcery) should make use of the medicated ghee recipes, described in Bhuta Vidya (chapter 4 and 5 of this section) and also perform rites such as offering oblations, fire sacrifices and religious bath/ sacrificial bath.

ghRtAni bhUtavidyAyAM vakSyante yAni tAni ca । yuJjyAttathA baliM homaM snapanaM mantratantravit ॥ 58 ॥
