पार्श्वद्वये लाङ्गलकः समस्तांश्चाग्निना दहेत् । आस्रावमार्गान्निःशेषं नैवं विकुरुते पुनः ॥ ३२ ॥

and incision made from both sides is called Langalaka. All the orifices exuding fluids should be cut open completely and burnt by fire (thermal cautery), only then the wound does not recur again.
