तत्प्रमाणेन जठरं पाटयित्वा प्रवेशयेत् । यथास्थानं स्थिते सम्यगन्त्रे सीव्येदनु व्रणम् ॥ ४७ ॥

therefore the abdomen should be incised (cut) to its (intestine) size and pushed in. When the intestine occupies its proper place the wound should be sutured;

english translation

tatpramANena jaTharaM pATayitvA pravezayet । yathAsthAnaM sthite samyagantre sIvyedanu vraNam ॥ 47 ॥
