इत्यशान्तौ चले दाहः कफे चेष्टो यथोदितः । अर्धावभेदकेऽप्येषा तथा दोषान्वयात्क्रिया ॥ ९ ॥
If the disease does not subside by these, then burning by fire (thermal cautery) as prescribed for Vata and Kapha are desirable. Even for Ardhavabhedaka, the same treatment together with those relevant to the increased dosha should be done.
