खण्डौष्ठविहितं नस्यं तस्य मूर्ध्नि च तर्पणम् । पित्ताभिघातजावोष्ठौ जलौकोभिरुपाचरेत् ॥ ५ ॥

Nasal medication prescribed for Khaṇḍoṣṭha should be used, and Tarpaṇa (anointing with oil) should be done for the head also. In Oshtakopa of Pitta origin and due to injury, treatment is by applying the leeches (to remove vitiated blood),
