त्रासयेन्नाविधेयं तं त्रस्तं गृह्णन्ति हि ग्रहाः । वस्त्रवातात्परस्पर्शात्पालयेल्लङ्घनाच्च तम् ॥ ४१ ॥

sanskrit

The baby should not be frightened/threatened even though disobedient (irritable), because evil spirits will seize (take possession) the frightened baby. She should be protected from cloths (rough and thick coverings which cause suffocation etc.), breeze, touch by others (than the mother) and fasting (lack of food).

english translation

trAsayennAvidheyaM taM trastaM gRhNanti hi grahAH । vastravAtAtparasparzAtpAlayellaGghanAcca tam ॥ 41 ॥
