दुष्टवातविषस्तन्यरक्ततोयादि चूषणैः। कण्ठस्रोतोगते शल्ये सूत्रं कण्ठे प्रवेशयेत्॥३५॥

Removal of shalya by sucking apparatus: Bad air (flatus), poison, breast milk, blood, fluids etc. (which have become foreign bodies due to stagnation) are removed by sucking (with the help of animal horns etc. equipment). Removal of shalya impacted in the throat: When the foreign body has gone into the passage of the throat (and has impacted therein).

duSTavAtaviSastanyaraktatoyAdi cUSaNaiH। kaNThasrotogate zalye sUtraM kaNThe pravezayet॥35॥
