श्वयथुग्रस्तवारङ्गं शोफमुत्पीड्य युक्तितः। मुद्गराहतया नाड्या निर्घात्योत्तुण्डितं हरेत्॥३२॥

If the tail end of the arrow is surrounded by an elevation, it should be pulled out after cutting off the elevated part suitably; if the arrowhead has caused a bulging on the body, it should be removed with the help of a Nadiyantra (tubular instrument) after shaking / hitting the bulging with a hammer.

english translation

zvayathugrastavAraGgaM zophamutpIDya yuktitaH। mudgarAhatayA nADyA nirghAtyottuNDitaM haret॥32॥
