रागादिरोगान् सततानुषक्तानशेषकायप्रसृतानशेषान् । औत्सुक्यमोहारतिदाञ्जघान योऽपूर्ववैद्याय नमोऽस्तु तस्मै ॥१॥
Salutation to The Unique and Rare Physician, who has destroyed, without any residue all the diseases like Raga (lust, anger, greed, arrogance, jealousy, selfishness, ego), which are constantly associated with the body, which is spread all over the body, giving rise to disease, delusion and restlessness. This salutation is done to Lord Dhanwantari.

उन अद्वितीय एवं दुर्लभ चिकित्सक को नमस्कार है, जिन्होंने शरीर से जुड़े हुए राग (काम, क्रोध, लोभ, अहंकार, ईर्ष्या, स्वार्थ, अहंकार) जैसे सभी रोगों को, जो शरीर में व्याप्त रहते हैं तथा रोग, मोह और बेचैनी को जन्म देते हैं, बिना किसी अवशेष के नष्ट कर दिया है। यह नमस्कार भगवान धन्वंतरि को किया जाता है।
