प्रभवत्यसृजः स्थानात्प्लीहतोयकृतश्च तत् । शिरोगुरुत्वमरुचिःशीतेच्छाधूमकोऽम्लकः ॥ ४ ॥
The disease Raktapitta originates from the seat of Rakta (blood), that is the Pliha (spleen) and Yakrit (liver). Purvarupa (premonitory symptoms): Feeling of heaviness of the head, loss of taste (or appetite), desire for cold, feeling of hot fumes coming out (from the stomach through the mouth), and (increased) acidity.
