ज्वरः स्यान्मनसस्तद्वत् कर्मणश्च तदा तदा । दोषदूष्यर्त्वहोरात्रप्रभृतीनां बलाज् ज्वरः ॥ ७५ ॥

Strength of doshas, mind, tissues, seasons etc. in the manifestation of vishama jvaras: Likewise from the functions / deeds, and of the mind, these fevers (vishama jvara or remittent and intermittent fevers) get manifested. Fever appears at such specific times whenever the doshas (become predominant in relation to the dusyas i.e. dhatus and malas involved), rtu (season), and ahoratra (periods of day and night) ,
