चरन् स्रोतःसु रिक्तेषु भृशं तान्येव पूरयन्। तेभ्योऽन्यदोषपूर्णेभ्यः प्राप्य वाऽऽवरणं बली॥६॥
Though vata disorders are innumerable, only eighty of them that are common, have been enumerated previously. Bali (vata) then moves up in the empty channels-because of tissue depletion and also fills up these empty channels or by getting enveloped by the other doshas which have filled up the channels.
