बिल्वादीनां बृहत्योर्वा क्वाथेन सममेकशः । मिश्रयित्वा सुधाक्षीरं ततोऽङ्गारेषु शोषयेत् ॥ ४६ ॥
This latex of sudhā should then be mixed thoroughly with an equal quantity of the decoction of either the Bilvādi roots (Bṛhat Pañcamūla) or the two types of Bṛhatī, taken individually or collectively. The mixture is then heated and dried over mild, burning embers.

Once dried, the mass is rolled into pills (guṭikā). These pills should be consumed along with whey (mastu), cow's urine, wine (surā), or other suitable liquid vehicles. hk transliteration by Sanscriptसप्ताहं स्नुक्पयःपीतान् रसेनाज्येन वा पिबेत् । तद्वद्व्योषोत्तमाकुम्भनिकुम्भाग्नीन् गुडाम्बुना ॥ ४८ ॥
are soaked (processed) in the milky latex of snuhī (Euphorbia neriifolia) for seven days. This formulation should be consumed along with meat soup (rasa) or ghee. Similarly, vyoṣa (the three acrids), uttamā (Triphalā), kumbha (trivṛt variety), nikumbha (dantī), and agni (citraka) [processed in the same manner] may be taken with jaggery water (guḍāmbu).

hk transliteration by Sanscriptनातिशुष्कं फलं ग्राह्यं शङ्खिन्या निस्तुषीकृतम् । सप्तलायास्तथा मूलं ते तु तीक्ष्णविकाषिणी ॥ ४९ ॥
The fruits of śaṅkhinī (Canscora decussata) that are not overly dry should be collected and freed of their husk, along with the roots of sātalā (Euphorbia dracunculoides). Both of these drugs are sharp (tīkṣṇa) and channel-expediting/permeating (vikāṣī) in nature.
