नातिशुष्कं फलं ग्राह्यं शङ्खिन्या निस्तुषीकृतम् । सप्तलायास्तथा मूलं ते तु तीक्ष्णविकाषिणी ॥ ४९ ॥
The fruits of śaṅkhinī (Canscora decussata) that are not overly dry should be collected and freed of their husk, along with the roots of sātalā (Euphorbia dracunculoides). Both of these drugs are sharp (tīkṣṇa) and channel-expediting/permeating (vikāṣī) in nature.
