सशृङ्गवेरं युञ्जीत तित्तिरिप्रतिभोजनम् । तृष्यते चाति बलवद्वातपित्ते समुद्धते ॥ २६ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptदद्याद्द्राक्षारसं पानं शीतं दोषानुलोमनम् । जीर्णेऽद्यान्मधुराम्लेन च्छागमांसरसेन च ॥ २७ ॥
he should be given with juice of Vitis vinifera to drink, made cold, it enables doshas to move downwards after this is digested, one should consume meat juice of goat with sweet and sour herbs.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptपाटल्युत्पलकन्दैर्वा स्वभावादेव वा हिमम्। मद्यातिपानादब्धातौ क्षीणे तेजसि चोद्धते ॥ २९ ॥
or with pāṭali – Trichosanthes dioica, utpala kanda – tuber of Nymphaea stellata which are by nature cold in potency. By drinking wine in excess, the ap dhatus (watery tissues) get decreased and tejas (heat) gets increased.

pATalyutpalakandairvA svabhAvAdeva vA himam। madyAtipAnAdabdhAtau kSINe tejasi coddhate ॥ 29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयः शुष्कगलताल्वोष्ठो जिह्वां निष्कृष्य चेष्टते । पाययेत्कामतोऽम्भस्तं निशीथपवनाहतम् ॥ ३० ॥
He who develops dryness of the throat, palate and lips, protrusion of the tongue and moves his head sideward (restlessly) should drink, water as much as he likes, which is cooled by fanning over it (or cooled by the night wind).
