"तथा" इत्य् अमात्यः कुमारं राज कन्यां गर्भिणीं देवीं वा अधिकुर्वीत, बन्धु संबन्धिनां मित्र अमित्र दूतानां च दर्शयेत् ॥
Then the other ministers will certainly agree to it. Accordingly he shall install a prince, a princess, or the pregnant queen, and show him or her to all the royal relations as well as to the messengers coming from friends or enemies.
english translation
"tathA" ity amAtyaH kumAraM rAja kanyAM garbhiNIM devIM vA adhikurvIta, bandhu saMbandhinAM mitra amitra dUtAnAM ca darzayet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभक्त वेतन विशेषम् अमात्यानाम् आयुधीयानां च कारयेत्, "भूयश् च अयं वृद्धः करिष्यति" इति ब्रूयात् ॥
He shall provide the ministers and military officers with increased subsistence and salary, promising them that "This (boy) will, after attaining full age, increase your emolument still more."

bhakta vetana vizeSam amAtyAnAm AyudhIyAnAM ca kArayet, "bhUyaz ca ayaM vRddhaH kariSyati" iti brUyAt ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवं दुर्ग राष्ट्र मुख्यान् आभाषेत, यथा अर्हं च मित्र अमित्र पक्षम् ॥
He shall likewise promise the chief officers in charge of the forts and country parts as well as the parties of both the friends and enemies.

evaM durga rASTra mukhyAn AbhASeta, yathA arhaM ca mitra amitra pakSam ॥

He shall then take necessary steps to educate and train the prince.

vinaya karmaNi ca kumArasya prayateta ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकन्यायां समान जातीयाद् अपत्यम् उत्पाद्य वा अभिषिञ्चेत् ॥
Or he may install a child begotten on the princess by a man of the same caste.
