Arthashastra
तथा ब्रुवाणं योग पुरुषा ब्रूयुः "को अन्यो भवत् पुरोगाद् अस्माद् राज्ञश् चातुर्वर्ण्यम् अर्हति पालयितुम्" इति ॥
As he is saying this, others, taken in confidence before, shall say in reply:--"Who else than the one of your lead is capable of protecting the mass of the people of the four castes of the king" ?
english translation
tathA bruvANaM yoga puruSA brUyuH "ko anyo bhavat purogAd asmAd rAjJaz cAturvarNyam arhati pAlayitum" iti ॥
