The meat of the animal Shalyaka is sweet, pacifies Pitta, light, cooling, and antidotal to poison. It is beneficial for Maruta (wind-related disorders) and is a suitable diet for a large serpent and beneficial for Shashas.

शल्यक का मांस स्वाद में मधुर, पित्त को शान्त करने वाला, हल्का, ठंडा और विष के प्रभाव को दूर करने वाला होता है। यह मारुत (वात संबंधित रोग) के लिए लाभकारी है और अजगर के लिए उपयुक्त आहार है, तथा शशास के लिए भी लाभकारी है।

The meat of the snake, which is difficult to name, is effective against disorders caused by wind, harmful to worms and toxins, and is beneficial for the eyes. It is sweet in taste, enhances intellect, and strengthens digestion.

सर्प का मांस, जिसका नाम लेना कठिन है, वायु से होने वाले दोषों को दूर करने वाला, कृमि और विष के प्रभाव को समाप्त करने वाला और नेत्रों के लिए लाभकारी होता है। यह स्वाद में मधुर होता है, मेधा और अग्नि को बढ़ाने वाला है।

दर्वीकरा, दीपक और जो कटु स्वाद वाले हैं, वे मधुर और नेत्रों के लिए अत्यंत लाभकारी होते हैं। ये पाचन, मूत्र और वायु से संबंधित विकारों के लिए भी उपयोगी होते हैं।
