गोधा विपाके मधुरा कषायकटुका स्मृता । वातपित्तप्रशमनी बृंहणी बलवर्धनी ॥८१॥
In taste, goat meat is sweet and astringent. It is known to pacify Vata and Pitta, and it enhances strength.

The meat of the animal Shalyaka is sweet, pacifies Pitta, light, cooling, and antidotal to poison. It is beneficial for Maruta (wind-related disorders) and is a suitable diet for a large serpent and beneficial for Shashas.

सर्प का मांस, जिसका नाम लेना कठिन है, वायु से होने वाले दोषों को दूर करने वाला, कृमि और विष के प्रभाव को समाप्त करने वाला और नेत्रों के लिए लाभकारी होता है। यह स्वाद में मधुर होता है, मेधा और अग्नि को बढ़ाने वाला है।
