स्वादुतिक्ता कुन्तलिका कषाया सकुरण्टिका । सङ्ग्राहि शीतलं चापि लघु दोषापहं तथा । राजक्षवकशाकं तु शटीशाकं च तद्विधम् ॥२७६॥
Sweet and bitter, Kuntalika and Kashaya, and Kurantika are astringent. They are absorbent, cool, light, and pacify the doshas. Similarly, Rajakshavaka and Shati are of the same kind.
