भागं सङ्क्षुद्य संसृज्य यवैः स्थाल्यामधिश्रयेत् । अजशृङ्ग्याः कषायेण तमभ्यासिच्य साधयेत् ॥४१॥
Crush the portion, mix it with barley, and place it in a pan. Pour the decoction of goat horn over it and cook it properly.

भाग को पीसकर जौ के साथ मिलाएं और एक पैन में रखें। इस पर अजशृंग (बकरी के सींग) के काढ़े को डालकर अच्छे से पकाएं।

सुसिद्धांश्चावतार्यैतानौषधिभ्यो विवेचयेत् । विमृद्य सतुषान् सम्यक् ततस्तान् पूर्ववन्मितान् ॥४२॥
Once they are well-cooked, remove them from the heat, separate them from the medicinal substances, and thoroughly mash them with the husk. Then, measure them as done previously.

जब वे अच्छी तरह से पक जाएं, तो उन्हें आंच से उतारकर औषधियों से अलग करें और भूसी सहित अच्छी तरह मथें। फिर, उन्हें पहले की तरह नापें।
