सर्वावयवसाध्येषु पलाशलवणादिषु । व्यवस्थितो न कालोऽस्ति तत्र सर्वो विधीयते ॥११॥

"In all cases of ailments, such as those involving Palasha and Lavana (salts), there is no fixed time for their collection; it is to be done as required."

english translation

"सभी प्रकार की बीमारियों में, जैसे पलाश और लवण (नमक) संबंधित मामलों में, संग्रह के लिए कोई निश्चित समय नहीं होता; इसे आवश्यकतानुसार किया जाना चाहिए।"

गन्धवर्णरसोपेता षड्विधा भूमिरिष्यते । तस्माद्भूमिस्वभावेन बीजिनः षड्रसायुताः ॥१२॥

"A soil endowed with fragrance, color, and taste is considered to be of six kinds. Therefore, according to the nature of the soil, seeds should be associated with the six qualities."

english translation

"गंध, रंग और स्वाद से युक्त भूमि को षड्विधा (छह प्रकार की) माना जाता है। इसलिए, भूमि की स्वभाव के अनुसार, बीजों को षड्रसायुक्त गुणों के साथ होना चाहिए।"

अव्यक्तः किल तोयस्य रसो निश्चयनिश्चितः । रसः स एव चाव्यक्तो व्यक्तो भूमिरसाद्भवेत् ॥१३॥

"The taste of water is indeed indistinct and uncertain. The taste itself becomes evident when it is associated with the soil."

english translation

"जल का स्वाद वास्तव में अस्पष्ट और अनिश्चित होता है। स्वाद स्वयं तब स्पष्ट होता है जब वह भूमि के साथ मिल जाता है।"

सर्वलक्षणसम्पन्ना भूमिः साधारणा स्मृता । द्रव्याणि यत्र तत्रैव तद्गुणानि विशेषतः ॥१४॥

"The soil endowed with all characteristics is considered general. Substances from such soil possess its specific qualities."

english translation

"जो भूमि सभी लक्षणों से युक्त होती है, उसे सामान्य माना जाता है। ऐसी भूमि से प्राप्त द्रव्य उसकी विशेष गुणधर्मता को दर्शाते हैं।

विगन्धेनापरामृष्टमविपन्नं रसादिभिः । नवं द्रव्यं पुराणं वा ग्राह्यमेवं विनिर्दिशेत् ॥१५॥

"A substance that is not tainted by bad smell and is free from defects should be considered new, whether it is a new or old substance."

"जो पदार्थ दुर्गंध से अप्रभावित और दोषरहित होता है, उसे नया मानना चाहिए, चाहे वह नया हो या पुराना।"
