अमर्मोपहिते देशे सिरासन्ध्यस्थिवर्जिते | विकारोयोऽनुपर्येति तदसाध्यस्य लक्षणम् ||१४||

In a location without any vital parts (such as joints or bones) and where there are no underlying issues, if a condition persists and does not improve, it indicates an incurable nature of the ulcer.

english translation

जहाँ कोई महत्वपूर्ण भाग (जैसे जोड़ या हड्डियाँ) न हो और कोई अंतर्निहित समस्या न हो, यदि स्थिति बनी रहती है और सुधार नहीं होती, तो यह व्रण की असाध्यता को इंगित करता है।
