क्षतानां विषजुष्टानां व्रणिनः श्लेष्मलाश्च ये । तेषामेव विशेषेण सदा रोगविवर्धनः ॥२४॥
In cases of wounds that are contaminated with poison or that are afflicted with excessive sloughing, as well as in cases where there is excessive mucous secretion, these conditions are particularly known to exacerbate diseases.

जख्मों में जो विष से संक्रान्त हैं या अत्यधिक श्लेष्मा से प्रभावित हैं, वे विशेष रूप से रोगों को बढ़ाने का काम करते हैं।
