क्लिष्टजिह्माप्रशस्तसूचीव्यधाद्गाढतरवर्तित्वाद्दोषसमुदायादप्रशस्तव्यधाद्वा यत्र संरम्भो वेदना वा भवति तत्र वर्तिमुपहृत्याशु मधुकैरण्डमूलमञ्जिष्ठायवतिलकल्कैर्मधुघृतप्रगाढैरालेपयेत्तावद्यावत् सुरूढ इति; सुरूढं चैनं पुनर्विध्येत्; विधानं तु पूर्वोक्तमेव ||६||

In cases where the piercing has led to significant discomfort, especially when there is severe pain, inflammation, or an accumulation of doshas (imbalances), the following treatment should be applied: Madhu (honey) and Kairanda (Carrageen moss) root paste, Manjistha (Indian madder), and Vatilaka (a type of medicinal clay) should be applied as a thick paste to the affected area. If there is still no relief, the paste should be reapplied until the condition improves. The treatment method remains as previously described.
