स खल्वाप्यो रसो यकृत्प्लीहानौ प्राप्य रागमुपैति ॥४॥
The Rasa (nutritive fluid), after being absorbed and reaching the liver and spleen, undergoes a transformation and acquires a reddish hue.

यह रस, अवशोषित होकर जब यकृत (लिवर) और प्लीहा (स्प्लीन) में पहुँचता है, तो यह एक परिवर्तन से गुजरता है और इसका रंग लाल हो जाता है।
